Free Teeth Whitening Trays

Do you know those teeth whitening trays that dentists charge $600 or more for to whiten your teeth? You can get the exact same system for free and get that Hollywood smile without even leaving your home.

Recently the manufacturers of these products have released the same exact teeth whitening trays trays and solution that dentists use to the general public. These professional grade products can be found and obtained at your local drugstore for a much more reasonable price, but if you go directly to the manufacturer sites they are providing these systems for free.

Since dentists are still charging $600 for a procedure that is incredibly simple, these companies are trying to quickly get the word out that this exact same formula is available directly to the consumer. By providing their teeth whitening trays and solution for free just for a limited time, they hope to get enough consumers to see the great results and spread the word. After all, word of mouth is still the best form of marketing.

The professional grade teeth whitening trays will most likely not be available for free for a long time, but the companies that create these systems hope that by making it affordable to most Americans they can get more people to buy their system and use it in their homes. As it stands, most people cannot afford the expensive procedure that dentist charge for, but by making these products available directly to the consumer, teeth whitening can be a realistic option for just about anybody.

Teeth Whitening – A Solution For Bad Teeth

People with bad teeth often despair because they think that they can’t afford to do anything about them. TV shows like 10 years younger feature real cosmetic dental surgeries that perform everything from teeth whitening to veneers. This sort of cosmetic surgery is often expensive and if you have really bad teeth then it might be the only option. However if you want to improve your smile you can now get home teeth whitening kits that are much cheaper than a trip to the dental practice. Now everyone can gain confidence with a dazzling set of teeth.

Home laser teeth whitening kits use a hydrogen peroxide gel that is poured into a tray that fits around the gums. The whitening tray has a special slot at the front that allows you to attach a laser torch to it. The torch is then turned on and slowly whitens the teeth. This is an inexpensive version of the same sort of teeth whitening process carried out in a cosmetic dental practice.

Crest White Strips are a simple teeth whitening method that is carried out for half an hour at a time. The Crest white strips are thin plastic strips coated in hydrogen peroxide that are applied to the top and bottom teeth. Crest whitening strips are simple to use and are applied for a number of weeks to achieve an effect than lasts for up to 18 months. There are three different ranges of crest white strip; premium, premium plus and supreme. The range has been a big success in the USA and is also popular in the UK.

Tips on Teeth Whitening

What is Teeth Whitening (TW)?

Teeth Whitening is the process of removing stains and discoloration from teeth and improving their colour through a bleaching process to make them “whiter”

TW Options

1. Laser Teeth Whitening : is a one hour procedure at a cosmetic dental practice

2. Home Teeth Whitening : this is when custom fit trays are made and used at home over 1 to 2 weeks.

Top tips on TW:

1. Find out as much information about Teeth Whitening before going ahead. Find out which system a Cosmetic Dentist uses and ensure that if having Laser Whitening that the correct Laser will be used and not the blue light used to set fillings hard. There are different laser teeth whitening systems out there so do your research before going ahead.

2. TW is a procedure that should always be carried out under the supervision of a dentist. Avoid the beauty salon teeth whitening procedures.

3. Your teeth may experience some degree of sensitivity with hot and cold during the teeth whitening treatment. We recommend you use Sensodyne toothpaste in place of your normal toothpaste whilst whitening your teeth. If you still have sensitivity then also reduce the amount of gel you are putting into the teeth whitening trays. It may take a little longer to whiten your teeth but at least you will be comfortable.

4. Also allow the TW gel to warm to room temperature before use. Again this will help with sensitivity.

5. Do not overload the teeth whitening trays with gel as overflow may cause some gum irritation. The best size of teeth whitening gel is roughly the size of a lentil per tooth.

6. Avoid citrus foods and juices, as this may contribute to sensitivity whilst you are teeth whitening.

7. Try to avoid smoking, eating spicy foods e.g. curry, drinking tea, coffee and red wine as these may slow down the teeth whitening process. Also try to cut down on these after you have finished whitening your teeth as these will contribute to re-staining.

8. Keep your TW trays away from direct sunlight as this can distort the trays.

9. Do not eat, drink or smoke while wearing the TW trays. The teeth whitening trays are custom-made to fit your teeth precisely. Such activities may distort the trays.

10. To get the best result quickly, treatment days should not be interrupted. However, if you miss or skip a day, the treatment days should be extended to compensate.

11. Make sure the cosmetic dentist you see is registered to do TW with the General Dental Council

Teeth Whitening – A Real Alternative

Interestingly as the credit crunch hits the UK consumers are also thinking about teeth whitening as a real alternative to buying items like ipods, designer clothes or even other beauty treatments as they want the glowing white smile but do not necessarily have enough money to spread for other purchases.

Teeth whitening has become extremely popular in 2008 as TV makeover programs and famous stars are having the treatment and making it more mainstream and acceptable.

Along with many other forms of beauty treatments and ways to improve your well being and generally make yourself feel better laser teeth treatment is now a popular treatment for many who strive for personal improvement and a whiter smile.

Laser teeth whitening is performed in many salons by trained professionals who apply a chemical normally chlorine dioxide on the teeth and then the laser oxidises the chemical which speed sup the process and the whole treatment is then undertaken in an hour resulting in the staining being removed.

There are two ways to have your teeth whitened – one is done by a dentist or teeth whitening professional and it is called professional tooth whitening system; and the other is done at home through various do-it-yourself kits.

Managing the customers expectations is probably the biggest area that needs to happen as some customers will expect to have white teeth like Britney Spears or Simon Cowell but this simply is unlikely to happen and most people’s teeth will get whiter but only as far as their natural colour will allow. To get white bright teeth like the stars the only way is to have veneers by the dentist and these can cost a fortune and this is why laser teeth whitening is now considered a real alternative when considering teeth whitening.

Yellow or stained teeth can make the people look inferior. It also results in causing social insecurity. But now there is no need to look inferior as perfect teeth whitening is there to rescue. So, one can go for teeth whitening with ease.

Everyday staining of teeth is caused by the likes of smoking, red wine, coffee and sauces and eventually the enamel on the teeth gets impregnated and stains the teeth. The laser teeth whitening treatment gets deep in to the enamel removing the stains and brightening the teeth.

When you think teeth whitening you might think this is something that is going to appeal to mainly women but more and more men are taking are turning to teeth whitening as a way of improving their wellbeing and beauty.

Having a bright white smile is something that people are striving to desire and with Hollywood superstars all having glowing white teeth this has helped the teeth whitening industry grow over the last five years. With so many teeth whitening options available today ranging from diy kits to dentist trays sometimes the consumer is over whelmed with the options but Zoom teeth whitening is one solution that will not give you a headache in the process as the treatment is safe and very effective.

Teeth Whitening Pens – Do They Work?

A lot has been said about pens used for whitening of teeth. So, let us discuss here, do teeth whitening pens really work? Here we present some advantages and disadvantages of using whitening pens that will help you to decide.

· These pens are easy to use as there are no strips, no trays and no complicated dental procedures involved. You need not to consult to dentist while using this method of whitening of teeth.

· They provide effective tooth whitening as teeth whitener can be selectively applied to individual tooth through these whitening pens.

· You need not to take appointment from any dentist and go through long dental whitening processes because a tooth whitening pen quickly erases food and drink stains and hence saves your valuable time.

· High concentration of hydrogen peroxide may hurt your gums and soft tissues but these pens have low concentration of active ingredients i.e. Hydrogen peroxide that makes them safer to use.

· They are relatively inexpensive as compared to other teeth whitening products available in market. The average price of teeth bleaching pens is about $12 – $80 and one pen is for 30-day use. So, these are cost-effective.

· Studies confirm that tooth whitening at home is safe and does not cause any damage to the enamel of the tooth. So, using these pens at home won’t be a problem for you.

· These pens are very helpful for those who don’t want to visit dentists. You need not to go to any dental clinic for whitening of your teeth. Apart from this, if you want sparkling teeth urgently, these pens are going to help you a lot because through these pens you get whitening teeth in just a few minutes.

· Teeth whitening pens allow users to apply the gel directly to each tooth so it makes it difficult to get between teeth and the user may not be able to use it evenly.

· Another problem with these bleaching pens is that there is no way to keep the gel on the teeth. The gel immediately starts to come off of the tooth as there is nothing to hold it in place.

· They may sometimes cause gum irritation.

So the question here is, is such pen effective? Since the active ingredient in these pens is the same as in other products used for whitening of teeth so they have the potential to work. If the user is sure enough to coat every tooth evenly and get the whitener between the teeth, then it will work for sure.

Choosing the Right Teeth Whitening Procedure for You

Before you go in for a teeth-whitening procedure, you should know which type of teeth whitening procedure is appropriate for you: bleach based (non-vital whitening) or non-bleach based (vital whitening). The type of teeth whitening procedure you’ll undergo depends on your dental history.

Non-Vital Whitening (Bleach Based Whitening)

If you have had dental work done on your teeth such as a root canal, non-vital teeth whitening is recommended for you. This particular teeth whitening procedure is best because some of your teeth may only become whitened through a stronger and more involved teeth whitening procedure such as bleach based whitening. In this procedure, your dentist will fill the inside of your teeth with a chemical that will gradually whiten your teeth. In some cases, results appear within a day or two.

Vital Whitening (Non-Bleach Based Whitening)

This type of teeth whitening procedure is the one you usually see in popular literature and various advertisements. In this type of teeth whitening procedure, a chemical gel is placed inside a mouthpiece that you have to wear for a fixed amount of time. You may be required to wear the mouthpiece for only an hour or two or you may be required to wear it overnight.

If you’d like to have your teeth whitened but you don’t want to go to the dentist because you are on a limited budget, you are too busy or you simply dislike going to the dentist, your only option is vital whitening or non-bleach based whitening. If you have had any kind of dental history, you need to seek professional advice for options that are available for you. However, if you have had dental work done on your teeth, having whiter teeth is only a quick visit away to the nearest grocery or drugstore.
